Safestyle Deposit

I paid a deposit of £60 to Safestyle last Saturday. We cancelled the contract the next day. They have told me I will get the money refunded in 7-10days. Now, I am being very optimistic and should have the money by Wednesday.

If not, where do i go from here? Would the bank intervene. It's just that I have read, for a lot of people, it can take months
Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!

Did they say 7-10 days or 7-10 working days?
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?

They have 30 days so not a lot you can do until then, except friendly reminders.

Why pay a deposit if you do not want the stuff?

There's a myriad reasons why they might have changed their mind, and it's of no relevance to their question anyway.

Because the sales people can be really pushy and you need to have your wits about you so you don't end up agreeing to a price you later find out is too expensive.

Saying that, we were surprised at how competitive their prices were.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Not really relevant to my question...... we changed our minds.

We found them to be a rip off. Quoted us something like £12,000

then when we said no chance...they managed to cut it down to £9000 as a one time only price that can't be beaten if we have our house as a show house. We again refused.....at which point someone phoned us up and halve the price again. This made us realise that they are just con artists and so we had it out with them and refused to EVER do business with them. They gave up eventually.
