I need a Kindle Fire Expert Please

When I try to log into secure web sites on my kindle fire a number of them fail time and again. ie "David Llloyd" or "Bank account" or "facebook" etc. I double check that I am on line, get to the log in page with no problem but when I submit my user name and password. either type it in or copy paste it very carefully so I know nothing is wrong (and silk remembers it and I also tried setting silk not to remember). I just can't get logged in. I tried a few seconds later to log into the same site with my PC and get straight in no problem.
Does anyone know what setting I need to change or Am I the only one or Has anyone found a solution to this?
Also - If you have no problems logging into secure web pages (without a specific app for that site) on your Kindle Fire then let me know so at least I will get an Idea if it is actually possible to do.
Further details
I tried experimenting with facebook. If I use the facebook app I can get in no problem but if I go to the facebook login webpage I cant get logged in at all. Obviously with facebook I don't have to worry because I can use the app but for a number of sites I use I cannot find an app as their programmers don't write apps.
It seems to me that these sites use cookies that are essential to log in because if on your PC you turn cookies off then you get the same thing you cant log in and my Kindle is acting like a PC with cookies turned off. Does kindle allow cookies and if so how do I turn them on reset or delete unwanted ones?
Before I bought this Kindle I saw all the adds about how easy it is to access the web so surely there must be a way to log in to secure sites? Otherwise I have to take both the Kindle and PC with me when I go away and I only bought the Kindle so I would not have to do this.
P.S. I also posted this in the Kindle Forum and looked there but frequently this Forum gets the best answers.
Many thanks
