Sky Password help

Hi we have an old grundig sky box and we have just got the sky movie package. I have tried it out and it all works except a few of the movie channels ask for the password number which I know. I wish to remove this pass word box as the kids are in there teens and will keeep bothering me every time this comes up. I have gone through the parental control and made sure all the certificates are clear u through to x but this box still comes up.

Otherwise I will have to spill the beans about the security number being on the card as I don't remember it, and I still wish to restrict the adult channels.

Think that was something that was enforced by OFCOM recently (PIN numbers must be used for movies of a certain classification before a certain time) but newer boxes could have a software upgrade to get around it. You may be stuck with it I'm afraid.

You aren't alone in having the problem, how long have you been on Sky? We threatened cancellation recently (well it wasn't a threat we were looking to move to VM but they messed up our install date) and we got a new box out of Sky free of charge as long as we took a new contract out.

VM boxes do the same thing im afraid, I would love to rid my V+ box of the pin access, but thats the way its set.
