Hi everyone,
I know nothing about tablets in fact I've never used one before.
But I need something for a new business venture.
I'm in the middle of building a website with a ecommerce shop. At the moment I'm using my Samsung s3 to took the stock photos then adding them to drop box on my netbook and then uploading. Now my Netbook is extremely slow and its taking rather a long time to get all my stock on to the site.
So I need a tablet that has a good camera, is quick, light and reliable but being a new business it needs to be cheap and I also need to be able to take it to shows and be able to upload quickly to my website and photos.
Any Suggestions?

So you need a tablet with 3G? What size, 7 or 10 inch? Budget? No free lunch, and no free laptop

Why are you expecting a tablet to be any quicker at this than your netbook?
Are you using 3G or home broadband and if the latter wifi or ethernet cable?0 -

Well Im hoping so because every other pc and laptop in the house is a lot quicker than my netbook so Im guessing the netbook isn't very good.
And I cant really take a netbook to events with me because passing around customers is going to be awkward. So Im just after a tablet with a good camera that is reliable....anyone?I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0 -
Your original post was complaining about upload speed and that is going to be more a function of your internet connection. If you have other computers that are faster then use them to upload your images instead of the netbook.
For showing the website to others at events then you'd need a minimum 10" tablet imo. You'd need to look at them to decide as £170 is quite low budget for a 10" tablet and it will need good viewing angles for your projected use.0 -
I thought the OP wanted to be able to upload on site, hence mentioning that a 3G tablet is required.
If not, the options are clearly much wider. No free lunch, and no free laptop

One thing to consider - the photos you're taking are likely 8MPx which is HUGE for a website listing, you may find you can shoot on the smallest setting the camera will do (still plenty big enough for a web listing) and it'll fly by comparison. Sometimes handling large files will slow down a tablet, especially for uploading.0
