Financial Dissociation

Hi All,
First post on here so want to say hello first of all
I have a question about financial dissociation if anyone could help please?
I divorced earlier this year and have just closed a joint current bank account we held with HSBC (no money in it, no direct debits, no overdraft, basically a dormant account).
Will 'financial dissociation' occur automatically on my credit files/ credit report or should I fill a dissociation request in and send it to callcredit? (the only agency that has my ex partner as a financial link). If it does happen automatically how long is it likely to take?
Thanks!

Hello there.
You should file the disassociation request with Call Credit. It usually takes a couple of weeks, they are generally pretty quick.
