    On the reply form, just say you are not available on those dates. There is a line where pre-booked commitments can be listed. Also check your occupation doesn't either bar you from serving or grant you an opt-out.

    I've been listed three times, but never called.

    Colleagues who have been called seem to often spend the first few days going to court and immediately coming home again. Sometimes for the whole week they are required to attend for. On the other hand, one colleague had a trial so long and disturbing that the judge excused the jury from ever doing jury service again.
