If you don't get any joy from John Lewis, can you sew up the rips?0

Never had duvet rip on me, and my current duvet is well over 4 years old. Are the rips/tears due to the fabric covering wearing out??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

The rips are along the seams of the pockets that hold the feathers inside, it's a 2 layer duvet and both the heavier and lighter tog parts have rips.0

Yes we could, but it's still a concern about how much longer the duvet will last without deteriorating further0 -
How are the duvets held together. I wonder if the "rips" could have been caused by accidentally catching the duvets on something or by being a bit over enthusiastic when pulling the duvets apart. The rips are along the seams of the pockets that hold the feathers inside, it's a 2 layer duvet and both the heavier and lighter tog parts have rips.0 -
