  • Hi,

have a look here, might help.

When I do monthly readings with Scottish Power online, I get an online statement in a few seconds.
  • I submit meter readings online with Nower. I do not pay direct debit but pay online with debit card.

As Npower do not do monthly statements I have to ring them to submit 2 out of three readings. On the third I submit online and it usually takes about 3 days for the bill to appear. However, it can appears sooner on some occasions.

I was informed around 3 to 5 days.

If you are reading your meter then you know how much you are using. Why do you need npower to tell you what you already know?
  • because I like to see it in black n white, and how much the price is in total etc etc

units x price + vat = price your paying
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

i pay by direct debit with npower, the first month or so i would put the readings into the site and it would just be recorded (no bill). After a month i would put my readings in to the site and i would get an online bill produced about 48 hours later.

I submit readings online on the 1st of each month and nPower usually produce a new .pdf of the bill within a day or two.

This month it appears to be broken as 10 days in and no bill. Might be something to do with their big apology on the website re: new system and billing.

Still haven't put the heating on yet so my bill will be around the same as the previous 9 months anyway...

It mostly updates straight away with Npower but on occasion it can take longer - mostly when they were having all those big computer problems.

I eventually switched my submitting readings to the middle of the month and it has been more reliable/faster than at the beginning/end of the month. I suppose there is less load on their system?

But without already knowing how much you have used and how much that should cost the chances of being able to decipher most bills is very low.
