Hi
I'm looking to buy a laptop for Christmas in the £350 to £400 price bracket. Ideally it would have 8GB ram and 1TB hard drive.
The best thing I've is probably the Toshiba C50D-A-13G 15.6" Laptop on PC World (Sorry, I can't post the link). It's £379.
Just wondering if anyone knows of any better deals/anything wrong with this one. In particular, if the battery life could be bettered that would be good!
Any thoughts welcome
Thanks!

The Toshibas are reasonably decent. A bit cheap-feeling, but they work alright.
What is it that you are doing that requires 8GB RAM and 1TB hard drive?Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
You can pick up good deals at Dell if you search for voucher codes and can wait a little for deals (they come and go) (recently saw Inspiron 15, 4GB RAM, 3rd gen I3, and 500GB HDD for less than £300). Obviously if you need the higher RAM and HDD then it would be more, but worth a look.0

Thanks. Don't necessarily need that spec but replacing a laptop that's about 10 years old and am trying to future-proof the next one!0

If you can spend extra £10

You can always add RAM yourself later, buy you can't change faster CPU/ graphic card0
