Really? I was thinking of taking mine there in the school hols. It's a long way for us to go too. So do you think it's worth travelling about 100 miles there and back by train to it for 2 girls who love Dickens stories?I have to second this went last month and was most dissapointed so was kids2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -
IMHO, there's not enough Dickens related information there, and they admitted when I went (a fortnight ago) that it wasn't even finished yet. The set is pretty good, but there's no cohesion and not enough there for it to be worth the entry fee. Of course, this is just my opinion, and others will I am sure disagree.
I live close by, and would always tend to support a local attraction, but genuinely felt ripped off by it.0
