    Well done to everyone who has made target :D And well done to everyone who has managed to save just a bit due to this challenge :)

    I will be doing this again next year so hope we can get another thread started soon :) I am over target for this year but am just going to continue next year with the help of this challenge I hope x

    Made my final payment of £202 and reached the target - all in my CU account which I opened in January this year just for this challenge:)

    If a new thread is started can some one post the link to it please? definitely going to try again! Thanks:D

    Hi All,

    Just dipping in with a quick update (Westin#37).

    I was saving in reverse and this week put my final £1 in. I certainly found it easier each week knowing the amount to save was decreasing each week.

    All complete - £1378.43, the 43p from some bank interest. I should get a few more pennies interest at the end of this month.

    I'm being made redundant on 31 December and will take the opportunity to invest the money from this MSE thread challenge into a new business venture. Hope it will grow further from there!

    Well done everyone who completed the challenge and are now £1378 better off!

    Special thanks to Splodgethefirst for getting up all saving :T

    Another £40 in for me today so a grand total of £1612.87 for the year really happy with this and would also like to continue next year.

    Well done to everyone some months were really tough but so pleased I got there and am if fact over target.

    Well done everyone. Just in London spending all the money put away in this challenge on a family holiday. Will start again in Jan. Merry Christmas everyone.

    I've been AWOL for a long time but recently started lurking and love the idea of this way to save, I've made a start and am on week 5 of my chart because I wanted to save the money for next Christmas.

    There is a thread called the 52 week money challenge which started in August 2014 I think.........exactly same principle. I have decided to carry on but won't be posting anymore. Thanks for the idea Splodge :)
