Weekly Saving Challenge 2014

One of my DDD goals for next year is to complete the weekly saving challenge. I am planning on doing it in reverse order (both to be awkward and to pay the biggest sums whilst I am most keen!).
The aim is to pay the same amount of money in pounds (etc) as the week number of the year in to a savings account - with the final total standing at £1,378 - a princely sum!
I know this is something which has been mentioned on this forum and I wondered if anyone wanted to join me?

Do we want to have numbers and such? I've written the weekly figured in the back of my saving's book so i can cross them off as I go. Here are the monthly totals if you're doing it that way:
Backwards: January - £202; February - £186; March - £170; April - £154; May - £138; June - £122; July - £106; August - £90; September - £74; October - £58; November - £42; December - £10
Forwards: January - £10; February - £42; March - £58; April - £74; May £90; June £106; July - £122; August - £138; September - £154; October - £170; November - £186; December £2020 -
Might be a good idea to have numbers in signature's so we can keep an up to date record through the year!Grocery Challenge 2024

Ooooo yes please, me me me.
What a fab idea.
Although as I'm on SMP until May, I'm going to have to go forwards as I just don't have the big amounts at the mo.
Can I have a number please?SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Could I go forwards for a month and then
Backwards? I know it's a bit wierd but January is an expensive month for us. I think this challenge will give us the push to save regularly. XDetermined to save and not squander!
