Removing stains from gloss paint shelf?

I've realised that I've marked the gloss white fireplace in my rented accommodation. The colour from the felt on the bottom of my oil burner seems to have transferred.
Has anyone got suggestions on how to get rid of it? I've tried CIF and that hasn't worked. Help!
THanks

I am not an expert but can't think of anything specific.
It might be best to repaint the relevant part. If you decide to do this, make sure you tape off all adjacent bits so no paint smudges where it shouldn't, and don't put anything on the fireplace for several weeks to allow the gloss to harden properly. You'd need to sand it down (sandpaper) first, I think.0 -
yep youll just need to lightly sand the area you need to paint and then give it a coat of gloss paint whatever the colour may be . im guessing white.

just read its white :S0
