The freecycle website says "Our goal is to keep usable items out of landfills." When you offer things you may choose to select recipients who will use them personally, but there is certainly stuff on them which the owner would be glad for anyone to take away. I have seen car boot lots advertised on mine.

I've also seen the "suitable for car boot" items, but myself and many other Freeglers (there's a least one thread on MSE) offer items for use by the recipient rather than them selling it on.

What I am trying to warn against is the misuse of Freegle/Freecycle to the extent that genuine people in need lose out or items stop being offered.

I fuly agree and was just representing the route of 'free items'. Common sense prevails in this instance and the individuals conscience. What I should have emphasised was the fact that with s certain amount of effort, you can find items to get from lots of sources. .:T

  • £1000 a month is way too high. Let's start at £100 and increase the goal little by little. I'm in at £100 :)

I don't know much about earning online. I only got £10 on Paypal which I got from GPT sites. Any ideas will be much appreciated!

Great idea....set your own targets. Lots of ways to get extra cash, try a leaflet drop and ask for unwanted items.
