People don't know what they want until you show them.

    Very ambitious.
How about calling it the Mighty Oaks challenge and letting people decide how much of the 'forest' they want to aim for?

Out of curiosity, how did you do on your 2010 turn 100 into £10k challenge?
Can't honestly remember as I regularly earn lots of extra every month. I believe it is very doable. The main ingredient is wanting to do it , working at it and not expecting miracles. Aim high and if you only achieve a smaller percentage so be it ! It's still going to be much more than nothing. What have you got to loose....? If you have no cash flow to do this then start by looking for free items. I'm sure you've all heard of freecycle, then there's gumtree. Why not put an advert asking for unwanted items. Be positive about this and you will be successful. If £1000 a month seems to ambitious then set your own target . Thanks

Another easy idea is to make pet bndanas out of odd material.A search will show you some fantastic material for sale from jelly bean to leopard print. These will easily sell for £5 each and cost pence to make. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

The principle behind Freecycle (or Freegle as it is now known) is for people to pass on unwanted items to those who need them and will use them, rather than give them to someone who just wants to make a profit from them.

The freecycle website says "Our goal is to keep usable items out of landfills." When you offer things you may choose to select recipients who will use them personally, but there is certainly stuff on them which the owner would be glad for anyone to take away. I have seen car boot lots advertised on mine.
