redruby how is your mums dog ?
. Lamb for lunch , picked up a rolled joint from @ldi , never had one before so not sure how to cook it .
Have a good day everyone xx
She is doing really well, eating and drinking and all the toilet functions seem to be working well, she is a little old lady at 12 but a typical terrier ! such tough little working dogs, thank you for asking.
As for your joint I would cook it as a normal joint but maybe a bit slower and longer. x
Morning all,
Mild here wm and dw are on, washing will be hung on the line although I don't think for one moment it will dry.
Might pop into town later and try to finish off the xmas shopping nearly there (thank god for online shopping)
Dinner tonight will be the satay chicken thing from last night, we had hot dogs last night instead.
Hilstep have a hug love, hope all goes really well this week xx

Morning all.
not long back from chapel, the tree was up and we sang a few carols; as it is a nice, mild morning it was very pleasant walking over and back. I had caved in a bought boots with 'flat heels' - about 1/2 inch - but I'm glad to say they don't feel like wellies so I think I'll get a lot of wear out of them. My feet are too chilly to wear skirts and shoes so the boots were a solution.
Gammon today, and catching up on all the bits and pieces I haven't got round to. This afternoon we will be swapping from the old fridge/freezer and small freezer to the small fridge and big freezer - a bit like musical chairs but with appliances.
Have a good day all xI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Hi all
Grrr, everything is nearly ready as they originally needed to eat at 12 & now they've phoned to say they're running late, won't be here 'til 2ish. Running late actually means hung over & too !!!!!! to drive yet!
Hey ho, it will be a shame if the chops are dried out won't it, but I don't eat pork so I don't care, lol.
Look on the bright side, it's made me tidy up.

Afternoon all,
Happy Birthday to Gonzo
Been quite a bright day here so far, went to help DH dump stuff at the tip then we drove to Boxley woods and had a walk round. It was really quite fun as we didn't stick to the paths and Boxley is on the downs and so is very hilly!
DS2 had a bit of a shock yesterday, he was on his lunch break from his Sat job when an elderly man collapsed and died. He went to help him and called an ambulance. Another chap came over and checked for a pulse and started CPR. It's a sad situation but I was proud of the way he tried to help.
Anyway on a lighter note, I keep thinking I should attempt to retrieve the tree and decs from the loft but have a bad case of CBA today!
Enjoy the rest of your day0 -

Sis in law came this morning and we had a good long natter and a nice salad and stuff for lunch.Eldest DD is on her way back from Devon and just texted to say she and her OH went out for a meal last night and she's been up half the night with a bad tummy
Just rewritten my freezer list and am about to print it off to replace the one on the front of the freezer.I sorted my freezer out as well and have enough food in there to last me into the new year so lots of NSDs for me:)
I have my book club Christmas 'do' tomorrow so that will be nice and I am hosting the coffee morning on Tuesday Then down to lunch with sis-in-law in faversham afterwards.Very busy week ahead as my brother is arriving from France on Wednesday and I also have a Drs appointment at the hospital. This week is just going to fly by:)
Right must be off so much to do and so little time to do it
Cheers chums JackieO xxx0
