First Direct Error message

Does anyone else get this first direct error message when trying to send a payment?
We are unable to send this payment today. Would you like the payment to be sent tomorrow?

Looks more like a confirmation message than an error message to me.

The legal obligation is that faster payments arrive by no later than the end of the next working day. Whilst most times, especially during the week, payments do arrive the other end literally instantly, the legal obligation is by the end of the next working day. Makes sense when you think about it, because they will need some time for housekeeping and maintenance. The least disruptive time for the masses is the weekend.

I got that message often when setting up new payees, it seems to trigger when you send 2 payments to that payee. The first one arrives in seconds, the second one arrives in the early hours of the next morning. You also seem to get the message if you send after the cut-off time (11:45pm I think?)

You can still send upto £49999 per day, so it's not a big deal.
