Faulty Christmas Lights

Bought a set of outdoor Christmas lights 10 days ago in the Range. Been working fine till today - they're white & blue bulbs - and the white ones don't work. They're on for about 4 hours each evening.
I expected them to last a lot longer than 10 days. Will they exchange them for me under the Goods act as unfit for purpose? I have the receipt.
Or will they turn round & say "not our problem"????

Take them back and find out.0

They should at least give you a refund (replacement may not be possible if they don't have any sets left).
As its less than 6 months from purchase, its up to them to prove the fault isn't inherent. They may also ask to see proof of purchase but this doesn't necessarily have to be a receipt. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Of course they should last longer than 10 days. I can't see them arguing if you take them back.0
