I am currently making a calendar in Photoshop. The problem is this: i am duplicating the text. It shows up in layers view but not on the actual image...it has not done this before.

Its probably sitting behind another layer. It does it to me sometimes, I think I tend to just save it and re open it and do it again...its probably a dead simple way of just bringing the layer you want to the top though but I've never made the effort to find out, Google?
Assuming that sounds like it could be the problem?
If you've used photoshop before then you should know when you copy/paste for first time it sits directly on top of itself as well (so you'll get text on top of text and you just drag it to where you want)
Thought it was worth mentioning incase you were new to it.People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
I've tried. It does not work sadly.
I'm not new to Photoshop but this problem is confusing me.
Thanks anyway0 -
Strange. It must be hiding some how, its most likey something dead straight forward.
If its not hiding behind a layer *long shot* opacity is at 0%?
Only other thing I could suggest is just copying your whole calender into a new photoshop page and try again? If thats possible depends if you need all your layers.
Hopefully someone will be along with more experience but if not PM me if its that important and I'll send my friend an email. (20 years graphics designer so he'll probably know.)People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
What colour is the background and colour of text or as said, opacity is set to o% or text layer is behind behind image.
Do you not have illustrator, text work in photoshop is not the bestMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
Photoshop is not a design or page make-up program. Edit your images in Photoshop and import them into the right program for the job, i.e. Quark or InDesign. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Kayalana99 Opacity is at 100%. I copy all text from one Photoshop document to another.
neilwoods Background I'm pasting on is white and text is black. I do not unfortunately.
macman many graphic designers use it. Me being one of them. But yeah it's not the best for page work. I use Pageplus for that. Quark costs a whole lot of money. InDesign costs too.0 -
Take a copy then flatten the layers. When you attempt to print, does your text show up on the Print dialogue?0

Actually most graphic designers don't use photoshop for page make up. Did it for 15 years.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
