Nhs dental charges for pensioners low income

i need over 200 pounds of dental treatment on the nhs The top scale i believe Thing is i cant afford it I am on a state pension and DLA and from what i can gather I dont have 18k in the bank .LOL Would i be able to get low income help what is the criteria it is confusing to say the least regards Beatrice

Apply for help under the NHS Low Income scheme here
The thresholds for help vary according to circumstances so it's best just to apply and wait for the outcome.
If you qualify you will be awarded a HC2 certificate (full help with health costs so free dental) or HC3 (partial help).
I have the latter and pay no more than £28 per course of treatment.0 -
Or of you live near a teaching hospital you could check them out. It may take a while to register because of the increased demand due to charges0
