Budgeting Nightmare!

Hi everyone
I hope someone can help. I am trying to do a budget for my husband and I to keep our finances in order and I am struggling.
Firstly, I am on ESA - which is paid fortnightly - and DLA - four weekly, and he is paid on the last Thursday of the month. Because the payment dates keep changing for DLA and his wage, I'm finding it difficult to do a monthly budget to make sure everything is covered, and when I throw my fortnightly ESA into the mix, I'm getting really confused because of all the different dates the income comes into our accounts.
I have a few conditions which mean my cognition isn't great and I get really debilitating fatigue so I need to make this as simple and easy as possible for myself in order for it to work!
Can anyone advise on the best way for us to do a budget or point us to any resources or information?
I've tried to find the info myself, but typical me, I overwhelmed myself and tied myself in knots and now I've got a major headache and my whole body is exhausted!
Thanks in advance,
Ladybird x

Keep enough float in your account to decouple your income from your expenses. Then you don't need to worry about anything at all, so long as the total monthly income meets or exceeds the total monthly expenses.0
