If you have recently moved to UK and are living with relatives. Are there any tips on how to provide proof of address to open a bank account?

Add your name to the utility bills, your legally liable for them anyway, and use that as your proof of address. Most companies if you ask them to do a reprint do show current named occupants rather than just the names when the bill was first generated.
Alternatively any Home Office/ UKBA letters addressed to you normally will work0
