I am looking at buying the above laptop before Xmas and wanted Your guys opinions. It is currently on for £500 but I can potential get it for £450 with family staff discount.
Is it worth it at £450

If you put naughty photos on it, it'll become an indecent one.0

It's not bad, certainly. Toshibas also come with Windows 8.1 already on them (or at least every single one I've opened in the past few weeks has).Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
Just bought a new laptop last week, using it now..
Exactly the same as that one however mine was £480 and has an i3 Processor.. Same specs otherwise though.
So far quite pleased with it, the touchpad mouse and keys take a while to get used to however..
But does already come with Windows 8.1 as Esqui said.0 -
450 seems ok

I considered the same Toshiba, bought my laptop earlier this week. Also from PC World with family discount.
I bought this one instead though: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/laptops-netbooks/laptops/laptops/asus-x550ca-cj677h-touchscreen-15-6-laptop-21712965-pdt.html
The Toshiba has a faster processor but the Asus seemed more well-built. I thought the Toshiba looked a little cheap - I don't think they normally look cheap but that model did. Plus I liked the idea of a touch screen - I'm surprised how much I use it, it's so much easier than using the trackpad.
There was a 10% offer on laptops over £500, so I got 10% off plus the staff discount on top.0
