Nationwide Postal A/C

Anyone noticed their statements being posted back late following a payment? I've been waiting for six days which is worryingly late.

if u have a nationwide flexi account ( current account) its e-saver ( 5.55% gross on 1.00+) sits along side the current account, so funds can be transferred on an instant basis online from 1 to another, all transactions are done via the flexi account, paying in at branches etc continues via flexi account.
anyone with an invest direct account ( was a flagship account at the time it was facing calls to demutalise) would have to transfer their funds to flexi account then transfer the funds from flexi account to the e-saver, ( min transaction 250.00 i believe)
sainsburys internet account pays 6% gross albeit with no cash point card facility0 -

The £250 minimum withdrawal refers to the invest direct account of course. Transfers between Flex and eSaver have no minimum.0 -

yes the original poster and another poster have invest direct accounts, 250 minimum is required to transfer the funds into other nationwide accounts from invest direct account, i could have got into about if they have 100.00 elsewhere with nationwide they could merely close their invest direct accounts, i was trying to keep the post simple, i hadnt transacted on my invest direct account for many years ( just had 100.00 in it) so came as a suprise to me that in order to complete a simple online transfer of funds within existing society that i first had to top up the invest direct account to 250 so that the original 100.00 could be moved.
as the posters have invest direct accounts they would be familiar with the min 250 withdrawal ( i assume) criteria, i just mentioned it to refeshen memories.0 -

Maybe a little slower than before.
One of the reasons I still have this, although I do have an e-saver as well, is because I often receive cheques for things (for example expenses reimbursements from work) and it's easier than trying to find a branch. Bung the cheque in the post, and stand well back.0
