I've just put the tv back on and I'm getting a message covering much of the screen saying "CI Module Removed". I have no idea what's changed in the half hour I was in the bath. The tv was on standby and had been absolutely fine for the last couple of hours.
The program is showing, and all channels are working. I have a freesat box, no aerial, and have never had a card in the slot on the tv.
Any ideas how to get rid of the message, I can't see Emmerdale properly!!
I've had the tv for 2 years.

Yep, tried that first.
Still not working.0 -
Check the connections where the CAM slots into it's housing. It may have slid out slightly-push it back in. The card slots into the CAM, and the CAM into the TV.
Maybe something knocked it: pets, kids?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Thanks Macman. I've swapped it with the one from my daughter's room now, but I'll plug it in later and check. My naughty mog does like to get on the unit behind the TV.0
