What program can I use to add music to a time lapse silent video? I was hoping for a free program.

Microsoft Movie Maker fits your bill. Not a bad bit of software for free.0

Second that. I've been playing around with MMM this week for the first time and it's really quite good. The only limitation is that you can only save a project in .wmv format but that's not an issue for me.
Adding a music overlay to all or parts of a video is simplicity itself and I like the way you can adjust the start point in the music track.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0 -
Ok. Now, how do I move a video file from the android phone memory to the sd memory card?0

Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.0 -
Another vote for Windows Movie Maker.
I was given some very expensive editing software that could do wonderful things but it was very complicated to learn. All I wanted to do was cut a few bits out, edit clips together and add a soundtrack and titles.
I found WMM was really easy to use and did all of the above, and more, really well.
The only possible issue is that if you are still using XP on your PC. Movie maker does not write to DVD without some DVD writing software. With Windows 7 and above DVD writing is supported by the OS so WMM will edit the video and then it uses the inbuilt DVD support to write the DVD.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -

I have Windows 7 but I haven't tried saving an edited movie directly to a DVD from within the software yet. I've simply been saving it as a .wmv file on my hard drive and burning it to DVD afterwards.
Does burning it from within WMM make a difference e.g. will it then play in any DVD player like a commercial film DVD?
Also, I only have some Verbatim 4x DVD+RW discs and the first time I put a new one in the drive, Windows gives me two choices as to how I want to use the disc ... something like 'Live File format like a USB drive' or 'Mastered like a CD/DVD' (sorry that's probably not the right wording). Which one should I be choosing if I am going to burn from within WMM's Save Movie As facility?... It's been a long time since I did it but basically yes, you can make a DVD that should play in any player.
What WMM does is output the video file into Windows DVD Maker which then creates the DVD complete with menus etc.
From memory you have to go to the Share option then Save Movie > Burn to DVD. This then opens up Windows DVD Maker and off you go.
Edit.
Your second point. I think you have to choose the Mastered option and you should finalize the DVD, If you don't do this they might not play in other DVD players. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Thanks Mr Toad, I'll give that a try next time I create a project.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0

Download "ES File Explorer" from the Play Store (it's free). Using that you can move or copy the video file to the SD card.
How do I find out which File Manager program my Huawei Ascend P6 uses?
And will downloading "ES File Explorer V3" upset my phone by clashing with the current File Manager?
The video I took using Lapse It app, and it does not record sound.0
