I don't remember if I applied to a payday loan matching service.

I didn't take note of the companies I applied to, but if there was a charge that I needed pay, I would of noticed it, before adding my card details.

If the site wasn't intending to charge you then why would they have needed the card details ? The fact that they have your card details suggest that you have keyed them in at some point, and they wouldn't need you card details to pay you a loan, only to charge you.

I'm sorry I am bit slow, what is a 'Recorded Delivery'??

I suspect that the poster means that you should use a method of posting that provides proof that the recipient has received it - but the Royal Mail service isn't called 'recorded delivery' any more it's called 'signed for'.

    Hi,

Because I applied to various payday loans, you have to enter your card details so they said that they my details was forwarded to them from another payday company, but they won't tell me who.

I will write another letter and make sure to get it signed for this time.

you may be able to work it out by elimination by looking at the sites you gave your card details to - there is likely a box that says you permit your information to be passed on - often these can be pre-ticked so you need to untick it. Look at the Ts&Cs on each one - how recent were your applications?

If you can't remember who you've applied for loans with and what websites you gave your card details to, I'm going to go with the £65 charge is legitimate and you've just not read what it is you're putting your details in to.

Good luck trying to get anyone to refund that.
