Product not as described

Hi,
I bought a product described as an 8TB unit, what was supplied was a 0TB unit, (TB is a unit of disk storage), my question is, should the seller now supply me with an 8TB unit, they do have something about order not accepted until kit is shipped in their T's and C's, however as they have shipped the kit do they have to fulfil the contract that they have made with me. Or can they get away with just a refund?

A 0TB unit is not a storage unit.0

I'm trying to understand how they could have provided you with a 0TB drive. zero TB? So what is its capacity then?
Long story short, you may have a case for loss of bargain but its notoriously difficult to prove and is dependant on a range of things. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Sounds like you bought an enclosure (NAS?) which can handle 2x4TB drives. These come empty, cost perhaps around £100, and you supply the drives for them. This should have been clear from the outset.
Is there a link to somewhere online for it?0 -
Was this a business transaction?0

I agree with above, sounds like you bought a unit suitable for up to 8TB, you may have made a mistake, a link will tell.0

Have to say I agree, if the word 'unit' was used in the ad it would imply you are buying the storage unit that accommodates up to 8tb, if it were an 8tb drive, it would have been described as a hard drive.
Do you still have time to return it under DSR's?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Link? Model? Price? Supplier? Anything?0

I don't think you can even *buy* an 8TB drive (certainly not cheaply or commonly), so this must be an enclosure for multiple smaller drives, so it comes down to the description's exact wording.
I suspect OP is not very technical (or they'd question being able to afford an 8TB drive), so it may be an interpretation issue?0 -
Exactly what did you order and where from?Hi,
