Just a quick question about that charge 10£ a month, i know its waived for new customers for 6 months, but after that you need to hold an eligible saving account with them to avoid that charge.
But i just seems cant find it on their web exactly which savings accounts are eligible!?
Please can someone confirm that for me please.

The Regular Saver doesn't count, but I think any of the others will suffice. Most of us open the e-saver.0

Thanks for this. I'd been meaning to sign up for one just in case the money isn't transferred to my 1st Account, for whatever reason. I've just opened the e-saver with £1.0

Hi
When I spoke to them to open my account they said that if I didn't pay in £1000 or have a balance of £1000 then after the first 6 months I would be charged £10 per month for the account. Unless I had one or more secondary product with them. The advisor went on to list various applicable products. Her list wasn't that up to date as every so often she said "oh we don't have that anymore". On the fd website there is a pdf with fees for the 1st account. On about page 10 under the heading banking fees it list various secondly what secondary products are applicable. It seams that with regards to savings accounts its just the "Regular saver" that doesn't count.

Or just need to hold a fd credit card. It doesn't specify you actually have to use the credit card. Better to keep savings elsewhere as their interest rate is not the best.0
