Bacs Money transfer how long?

hello last friday i had a bike accident a lorry reversed into me and my motorbike luckily i only sprained my ankle i spoke to the company he didnt want to go through the insurance he wanted to pay me for my bike and my injury so thats fair enough he used bac's money transfer into my halifax account but i have not received it yet any one know why

He used bac's money transfer
My Bank account Halifax
He done the Transfer wednesday 4th December ( unknown time )
and still awaiting payment

Are you sure they are not trying to fob you off?

It seems a bit suspicious that they didn't want to go through there insurance company, as if they were reputable then they would want to do everything above board.

I hope you have told your insurance company that you have had an accident? Even if your not claiming you still have to tell them that you have had an accident.

If I were you I would be contacting the company involved and ask them where the payment is.
