First of all will it be a cookie problem.
I am having a problem getting on to one particular site to do a comp. Even when I just click on the link,
Can someone walk me through what to do to correct it. Even when I went on someone elses computer, it did the same.
I get
Server Error in '/' Application.
Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --><configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="Off"/> </system.web></configuration>
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File --><configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/> </system.web></configuration>

If you are in IE then click tools, internet connections, when the screen opens click the settings button under Browsing History and then click the view files button on the screen that pops up.
Odds are though, if you are using more than 1 PC and getting the same error it may be the site and not a cookie issue.0 -
It's a problem on the web server. Nothing on your computer has caused it and there's nothing you can do to fix it - just wait until the site has been fixed.Server Error in '/' Application.

Thanks. No~one else had the same problem, so that's why I thought it was a cookie. I've just cleared the lot, so I'm going to try again.0

Thanks for that, I have just managed to get on to the home page, and sent them an email. Clearing the cookies got me on to the home page ~ its been like that for at least a fortnight.
