Switched to nPower duel fuel but got post through only about electricity. That right?

Just wondered. I thought the post they'd send out would be about both of them, but what i received today was only about their electricity with no mention of gas.
I might be jumping the gun though & there may be a gas letter on its way tomorrow for all i know. I did the duel switch on the same day though as an all-in-one, so i would've thought it'd all come out at the same time if so.
Anyone done the same & can say what they received?

I recently made the switch to dual fuel with Npower too. Like yourself I only got contract confirmation for only electric. This is a problem they are aware of. My switch for both fuels is apparently tomorrow. I also only had confirmation of start date for gas and not electric. Npower is just borked.My farts hospitalize small children0 -
I've been waiting since April for my Gas switch. Electricity happened very quickly. In the mean time I'm not paying anything for Gas and dreading the bill when they eventually get their act together. Npower are truly hopeless.0

I got a gas letter only, but like you wanted dual fuel. But online account is for electric only....??!!
I'm hoping i don't end up having to pay more as it was a cheaper deal for dual fuel.
Maybe the npower advisor on here can advise please?0 -

I only put the switch application in a week or so ago, so if the nPower advisor does read this - how do i cancel this application pronto?
I've just called nPower to discuss why i've only received a letter for electricity with no acknowledgement of gas. I called their 0800 073 3000 number.
...our current wait time is greater than....45 minutes.
Not a chance i'm sitting here for over 45 minutes just WAITING on someone taking the call.
Have you got that many people calling up complaining or is it just a one man band on the phone to the whole country??0 -

Thanks for your post. I'm sorry to hear that you're considering cancelling your application. Although you requested your electricity and gas together it's not uncommon for the supplies to transfer on different dates and this may be why you haven't received any details about your gas yet.
