I don't expect to win on these offers, but if I get a deal even once a year the saving is great. I did get the shaver 2 months back for £16 down from £60 in most other places. I phoned the help line number on 1st page but for once there system could not locate it.
ps also called a mate who also got a shaver.

wrapped my two shavers up yesterday zippy i know hubby and ds are going to be well happy with them, so big thanks
better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all.

Mine broke a couple of weeks ago so I am currently using a winnie the pooh one as DD won't lend me her proper one but I have 'somewhere' a brand new babyliss one in a box just need to find it :o:o

Had to laugh at this Flo, mine broke couple of months ago and I am using DD2s bright pink and purple "Groovy Chick" one as at 20 she is a bit old for it now. :rotfl:

I too have 3 brand new babybliss ones from Ts 90% off couple years ago. :o Saving them for a rainy day. :rotfl:
  • I've got to go out in this filthy weather/crowds before Christmas for just some milk and some vegetables/fruit. I think I might also pop to Tescos for some more Jus-rol as habby seems to enjoy my pastry wrapped goodies. Hardly bothered before doing any pastry on a regular basis just made my own for pasties and the occasional pie.

I'd love a Turkey crown too but am not paying full price, there's only the 2 of us & we can already choose from chicken, lamb, beef and pork whoopsies.

Just wondering tonight or tomorrow for possible whoopsied crown? Anyone know?

    Morning all

Missing you guys. Barely got a chance to sit down over the weekend let alone get on the laptop.

Was meant to be meeting a friend in the next town this morning but didn't fancy dragging the boys out in the wind and rain then keep them quiet in a coffee shop for an hour. So I cancelled and they seem quite happy having a pyjama day :D

Almost there with the preparations :xmastree:

    To do list for today
    Ice /decorate remaining Christmas cakes
Wrap last couple of stocking fillers
Wait for Mr T to deliver my groceries (and pray given the horror stories on their FB page )
Fill in forms for tomorrow's occy health appointment (you might guess I couldn't choose the appt time )

Logie I am sure you will be ok with your delivery.
I knew I was not getting my meat when I went to do final checkout as it had dissappeared. Was talking to dad about it and he said they had obviously forgot to monitor amounts being ordered as it was pre order only. Their suppliers would not have had limitless amounts.

Dad had me in fits yesterday. He bought a braising steak in gravy from iceland. He said he had never had meat so tough in his life. Having been a Master Butcher for 60 years he decided to wash the gravy off and have a good look at it. He swears it was beef and the right cut but says no way should it have been so tough. Anyway he wrapped it up in 2 plastic sealable bags and posted it to them:eek:
So glad he cleaned the gravy off first.
Might be the new way to complain, will let you all know if he has any luck:rotfl:

No winds here yet but reports from back home is it is really bad. Will have to send mum to mine to put bins in garage I think.

Cold worse not better so admitting defeat and going to babysit from dds house tonight and tomorrow. Can't help having to spread my germs a bit but at least dgd will have all her toys to play with so we might have to have a onesie day tomorrow instead. Immune system in overdrive fighting it off which makes my RA much worse too.

Keep safe whatever you are doing and if you are shopping hope muggles don't get in your way too much.

Oh what a morning! The weather is awful :( DS2 dentist appointment was distressing :( I can't stand seeing him so distressed. My dentist should have a halo:A at least her fingers were intact when we left this time :o

Then a bit of light relief in As (not!) I had to go in for something I forgot to buy yesterday. Picked up a pair of jeans for DS2 as well. We went to SS.....the jeans scanned as 'young boy' and that was it.....He had the supervisor over before I could stop him, telling her the jeans had the wrong barcode on, I was trying to explain to him that all boys clothes scanned as that. He was too busy confusing the living daylights out of the SV.....there was chaos going on all around us, which was making him shout louder :o:o:o:o I managed to get him out of the shop but he was still on full volume mode, as we left, telling me at the top of his voice that people might think As were selling children :o:o:o:o I was a bit flustered by that time I told him not to be silly, the queue at CS for refunds would be massive! :rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Tell him it's just like oil. You get peanut oil from crushed peanuts, olive oil from crushed olives, almond oil from crushed almonds BUT baby oil comes from ???. Or maybe not!:T

Good grief! I don't think his logical, PC little head could cope with that one, bless him.:eek::rotfl::rotfl:

I will have to listen to rights and wrongs of As barcoding system all day now :o he rushing around scanning things with the Asda app as we speak!
