I've got a bedside lamp that takes tungsten halogen bulbs the type that's the same shape as a finger. They re normally used for floodlighting apparently but they give out a really good light and heats the room up a treat. I wanted another lamp but can I find one anywhere ...no .... plenty of the bulbs around but cheapest on eBay :)

My bedroom lamp has a screw in bulb, and it blew on friday, as did the one in my bathroom, which was also a screwy one.

Of a million and one spare bulbs in my house, I have ONE that is a screwy one and had to go in the bathroom.

I will be picking up another one at some point today. I am not coping well without my lamp :o

    Bumping - last day!

And good morning all. Have a safe day, particularly those travelling.

I think that the voting for Isabella ends at 12 o'clock - on 1968 now - I'm sure we can get to over 2000. :)

Hope you're going to email them - I would, especially as you had to resort to an older one to get your hair dry

I emailed Duracell, found some of their batteries (out of date by a couple of years but I told them that) that had never been used but had leaked. (I should mention that it was while I was clearing out my DS's room after he had "cleared it out"). They say they never leak. I got a £7 (very random figure!) voucher back from them.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

It's ok if they can see who voted - multiple votes are permitted by the rules :)
I hope they cannot see who has voted, as there maybe 10 people who have repeatedly voted!
