OMG this would be hilarious, but she is highly likely to take offence! Just stop being generous, stop telling her of the glitches... she will soon be asking for things...then make her sweat a bit!

I use the incredibly nice technique loads of times - esp on till trouts who turn sour when you produce a wad of MOCs - I shower them with thanks and tell them to enjoy their day ...:D

The best way to deal with people who are like this is to be incredibly nice to them
    - send them an email/text (I would actually write a letter but I'm all old fashioned!)
start by saying how much you love your daughter/grandchildren and that you always valued feedback on the gifts you gave them. Say you are very sorry and must apologise that your Christmas gifts offended her/them and that it was totally unintentional. You were trying to give gifts that you thought might be of use and that would be pampering and that would make them feel loved and cherished and valued but you also had to consider your own time and financial constrains.
As the gifts were unsuitable ask for them to be returned along with all of the other items that you have given her/them over the year that were not to her liking.
Ask her/them to accept your sincere apologies for causing offence and ask for her understanding as it is now too late to source alternative Christmas presents for 2013.
    :rotfl:

I would happily use that response to non-family members but, for family, it might well stir up a lot more ill feeling than its worth. Personally, I reckon scamps should completely ignore what ungrateful moo has said until after Christmas/New Year. The, when he's feeling calmer, take her on one side and tell her that he was VERY hurt and upset by her comments, that he's always tried to do his best for her and all the family but, as she clearly doesn't think much of his efforts, he's going to stop passing on all his bargains. The bargains all take his time and considerable effort and he feels its all pointless when its not appreciated. Tell her he's sorry for the upset and that he wihes she had told him before that she really didn't want his stuff.

I would continue giving stuff (although maybe cut it down a bit) to the other 2 children who clearly do appreciate his efforts - its hardly fair to penalise them for the rudeness of the other one. Also, still give baby orientated stuff for the little one.
