Flo flo- just wanted to say thanks again for the tip on using a mount in a picture frame. I sorted out little man's school pictures the other day and they look fab. I totally would have drove myself nuts trying to find a frame that fitted exactly. Cheers babe :T:)Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0

Iamsobusy/nothappy come on down
I am missing your [STRIKE]sarcastic[/STRIKE] lovely posts to me
Good morning David and all other elite.
I hope that some others have checked in since you posted the above.I was playing catch up at silly o'clock then decided that another few hours sleep would be good. Not the best idea now.
Another quick catch up then off to see 4 GD's in a Nativity play, then some last minute essential/basic messages.
I have been charging my family for my good buys although I dont get all the fab deal the seasoned glichers get but am more than happy with my haul since I joined a few months back and I am delighted that this thread has been harmonious and to see so many posters thank others for their help and support.
Happy shopping, cleaning or baking.:)0 -
good morning all thanks for all the lovely messages re my dd2 yes i am very proud of her both my dds got jobs at 13 and worked there way through uni with no loans or much help from us.What a lovely daughter you have RHOS.
Don't mean to pry but has she approached the local authority re: being homeless (if she still is?) and if she is struggling financially, she will definitely be able to get some kind of help.
thanks she has a rented house now, but when she split from her partner she was expecting and it was his mums house, she did try for help but was told they could not help until baby was born:(
her dd is now 2 weeks so hopefully she will get more help nowvanilla_twist wrote: »My dd had to claim housing benefit towards the end of her maternity leave. It wasn't a lot around £68 but every little helps. And she is part of a 2 income household. Afterall this is what taxes are paid for, to help people through times when income slips and maternity pay is definately a time of reduced income.
Tax credits are good and really help with child care costs too for when she returns to work.

thanks for your help, she is going to look into the tax credit child care help, she is on maternity now has filled in all her forms so just waiting to see what she will get xx0 -

If it was uncooked sausages then you can refreeze once cooked as sausage rolls as you have changed the state of the food -0 -
