This is true, but I was always brought up to call a swede a turnip, and a neep.

Well where I come from neeps are yellow (turnip). Swede is the small white version

Thanks guys. It has a long date, 22/12, so in fridge now and will cut it into steaks when I get round to it. Some to grill and some for slowcooker. Yummy :j :j
