David - I will up it to 2 bottles :rotfl: if you let me come.

Just had a call from Mum - who has just had a call from my cousin who lives 100 miles away.
Went something like - Hello Auntie ***** we thought we would Surprise You :D and have booked into a Hotel on Christmas Night, so we can come and see you Christmas Day and Boxing Day .
Family consists of 2 adults and 2 girls aged 5 and 8.

Good job I was sitting down.
Mum and I were just going to spend day quietly together and cook a Chicken - have half each in front of TV.

Now looks like I have to start shopping and cooking

Shame my DB, SIL and DN would never dream of spending Christmas with us :( if so would have been prepared.

I would say (without knowing them) to invite themselves a week before christmas may mean there is another motive for the trip, maybe financial? But it sounds like you are happy for them to come (bar the obvious annoyance) so I hope you have a great time!!

They were really sharpish in sending my cancellation email. I got mine yesterday afternoon. Was beginning to think I was the only one :o Strangely though, the order isn't cancelled in my account, it still shows as 'item to be despatched soon'.
Glad that lots of people seem to have got lucky.....all is not lost :T

    Mines still in account too
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Afternoon all, haven't had a chance to catch up and this has probably been posted but: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2525753/Christmas-coupon-queen.html

Can't help but think £100 seems too much, still good for her though (and hello if you're on the elite :D ).

Better dash Ms P and I are going to watch Anchorman 2 :D

Fair play to both of them!!:D

Amusing to read the story, when you know compared to a lot of us, she'd be classed as a newbie. Lol:D

Maybe that's all she wanted to own up to in the national press! She might have a loft full they never saw :rotfl:
