I've got 2 M&S orders confirmed as being on their way and one cancellation email like fc got yesterday. It's probably the luck of the draw who picks your order. There's one last one still outstanding, and I don't know whether the cancellation refers to the small order I placed first or a larger one I placed subsequently. Ooh the suspense!

Just had a call from Mum - who has just had a call from my cousin who lives 100 miles away.
Went something like - Hello Auntie ***** we thought we would Surprise You and have booked into a Hotel on Christmas Night, so we can come and see you Christmas Day and Boxing Day :eek:.
Family consists of 2 adults and 2 girls aged 5 and 8.

Good job I was sitting down.
Mum and I were just going to spend day quietly together and cook a Chicken - have half each in front of TV.

Now looks like I have to start shopping and cooking :mad:

Shame my DB, SIL and DN would never dream of spending Christmas with us if so would have been prepared.

They were really sharpish in sending my cancellation email. I got mine yesterday afternoon. Was beginning to think I was the only one Strangely though, the order isn't cancelled in my account, it still shows as 'item to be despatched soon'.
Glad that lots of people seem to have got lucky.....all is not lost :T
