I am intrigued as to what you are doing with your butters though...why did you need to melt it was that for the stuffing?

Our chestnut stuffing is already made in the freezer, we cut it in half straight away last year. Only the paxo and sausage meat ones to do this year. :T

Morning guys

Well it's time today to empty those boxes and turn out my cupboards and sort out exactly what I have in the way of Christmas stash, then sort it into who gets what so that should be fun. Plus find my cards and get them written and posted. I just didn't feel like sending cards last year so no-one got them, but I must do it this year. That's if I can find my address book :eek:

Stuffing
Smoked bacon and onions are very slowly cooking as we speak and it is starting to smell a lot like crimbo in there with the herbs etc
