I managed to get stocking fillers and wrapped them up! But no big presents. Ordered a tablet from Carphone warehouse, 99 with 15 back from Amex. Just need a phone, shoes, blue tooth thingymebob, and god knows what else... I am delegating this to OH whilst I am away!

I bought DS3 GF perfume, a make up bag (with benefit lippy) and a BS gift set. I was going to get a pandora bracelet, but DS3 said that when they were advertised she had poo pooed them as being a 'tacky symbol of ..... ' I just remind myself that she is 16 and whilst not posh she is from a very wealthy family.

I have enough butter to sink the titanic.... but I have started food shopping. I am off work on Christmas Eve (the first for 10 years) so I will shop then... whilst bitting my nails!

I keep looking at my windows and thinking of your clean ones! But I have no intentions of cleaning!

So I think the term is that I am winging it this Christmas!

    Hey ho!

Hows your preparation going? I have it in my head that you are organised (come visit my house please).

Hope everyone's having a good day, weather here is awful! I need some help...can anyone think of anything useful but nice to go in a men's hamper? I'm making DH one, we've got a £50 budget this year but only want pratical stuff, i've bought him jeans, socks, DVD, book and thought I would make him a hamper with shower gel etc as he hates buying it, we buy our own. Can anyone else think of anything to add to the above?
    Or for some fun bathtime items, how about ... toy boat or toy submarine; water pistol; those foam letters for babies (in fact, anything fun bath-related for babies, from the pound shops/Wilkos etc);
waterproof books, lots of different kinds, like this for example

A few years ago someone got me a waterproof puzzle book with felt pen, to do in the bath, which was a great idea but the ink did have a habit of running into the bath:D. Just search for 'waterproof bathtime book' online, or high st retailers like Mothercare or Toys R us should sell them too.
Floating drinks holder so OH can have a beer or lager in the bath, like this
    http://www.zizypools.co.uk/hot_tub_and_spa_accessories/spa_bars_and_hot_tub_tableware/cool_floatie_drinks_holder_floating_drinks_cooler_P4558.html
You could probably make one yourself, with a cheap bath sponge and cut a hole in the centre, and write his name or some slogan in felt pen.

    Debt-free and Proud!
Tried that finest triple choc pudding tonight. Bleh. Nice ganache but the sponge tasted kinda chemically....like there was too much raising agent or vanilla or something. Wouldn't have it again.

How are their Christmas puds? Might use some of my coupons on those

Definately not, this is how they serve them in Cocoa Beach:j
    V x

Now I did read it as marmalade? right.. marmalade.......

Cocoa Beach... I have been there but definitely did not have prawns and marmalade. I am tempted to give OH it for a starter on Christmas day! I should always highlight I am not pregnant... far too old for that one!!

PS. On a side note, who is this Tracy lady who is my friend on FB CC (it is someone off here who linked up with me when I asked for FB CC friends but I can't remember for the life of me who she is on here). She is the bomb. She is always at the 5 million levels ahead of everyone and she is always the champette for each episode. Good on you girl!

She will get a smacked bottom coming in filthy.

So have you gone off bubbs now and onto your new found friend :D

I did an experimental shop with the Christmas Puddings that were on £7 BOGOF but were in Asda for £3. I was hoping that it would compare!

But it said I did not buy enough items!

    I bought:

    Value batter
    Xmas Pudding x2
    Dumpling mix
    Bread
    Brown onion
    red onion
    carrot
    sugar
    orange juice
    granny smith apple

on the ones that did compare I also bought the carrot and red onion but they did not compare!

Hey ho.. the puddings will be lovely x
