  • Just noticed that my Aldi £5 off £40 vouchers from last Thursdays Mirror are valid until 24th Dec instead of the usual 7 days :j:j:j:j

My dogs' ;) Sun + £20 Tesco vouchers arrived yesterday :j but still waiting for my £10 Morries voucher from the first promotion :( think I'll e-mail them later today. I got my lip glosses and the £5 bonus voucher a week ago, so the other voucher should have turned up by now

    Good morning all xx
I've been thinking about doing xmas food shopping on Xmas eve to get some good bargains :D.....as we are a bit short of money this year.....

Do any of you do this ?....if so have you got any good tips for me please....I.e ...not to get everything at the last min or what times the best to go?

I've been so concentrating on making sure there is enough glitched Christmas extras - chocs, biscs, drink etc Ive ignored the freezer. All we have left is a pack of mince, stew meat and some chicken giblets so I need to do some very big meat shops this week - no chance of getting anything reduced

  • You are doing him a favour- he will be well prepared for life. My DD wombles with me every day and sees the benefits. Just make sure that he is well wrapped up so that he doesn't moan at you about being cold!!!

Defo agree with you, too be honest he loves it though. If he thinks he's helping me he's as happy as Larry :D
I like to think the cute factor of him running up people's pathways may help them decide to place a lil order as well :D:rotfl:

Blimey your brave, it's not something I could bare to do. I'm guessing that it would be a complete scrummage round the reduction area come Christmas Eve. I would head to the shops in the evening for all of this week if poss and then just bung whatever I got in the freezer to last. Have you got any beef joints in from Sada yet? Maybe if a turkey is too pricey have a different joint instead. T,s pork is a great price as well, you can get a massive joint for £7-8. Much cheaper than Turkey. Have you an aldi near you for the veg?

I know I'm mad to even think about doing this.....it was just an idea and to see what everyone else think of doing it as I've never have been shopping on xmas eve before x

yes I have one nice bit of beef in the freezer but I may need to get another one because it is small x

thank you for the advice on what is like shopping on xmas eve!!

yes I've got aldi near by....I was thinking about getting the veg for the market?

:(broke my back doing glitching

Go early when shops open if there is something in particular. Or late for whoopsies.

Amazon prime has a free trial and delivers next day.

  • I got my little man's 1st school pictures on Friday. Why on earth are the standard size pictures 10x7" instead of 10x8"??
The only frames I can find to fit are from boots and are £16 each!! Bleeding outrageous
