Same here, I have still no idea what to get my youngest son - aged 21. He works in the outdoor sport industry so you think it would be so easy but he already has all of the specialist equipment and clothing he needs for every known land and water sport - canoeing, kayaking, walking, mountaining etc plus his foot ware and clothes are also specialised, some provided by work so he needs nothing. His car is only a few years old so he needs nothing for it. He got a new tablet in May so all his technology is up to date.
So far we have got 2 wheel trims for his car (actually he ordered those, we just picked them up) - they were only £12 and the only thing he really needed. I've got 2 magazine subscriptions, YHA membership and I've got to order a book and then there is a Gillet he asked me to wrap for Christmas.
I am at my wits end.
DS1 works in the same industry, and the others kayak/climb/bike etc. There is always something they want, last year it was ice axes and a trip to Scotland to ice climb! I always find you cant go wrong with dry suits or base layers.:p:p:p:p

Out of interest, How would you deal with it, if she were your pupil?
Genuine question!:)
I would speak to the mum (me) and the girl (DD), then I would speak to the 2 girls and the boy in question. Depending on what they said I would either deal with it myself by making sure they knew it was not acceptable behaviour, if it was a serious complaint against them or not the first time I would call their parents in individually and speak to them asking for their support to make sure it doesn't happen again. If it was very serious or I had already spoken to them and parents recently about behaviour/bullying I would refer it on to the head.
It is easier to keep an eye on these things in primary though in high school it is much more difficult, that said I expect DD to speak to her for m tutor and then form tutor or head of year to do something. If it continues and DD does her bit, which is letting teachers know when it happens, I will expect the school to do their bit and make sure DD feels as safe as possible in school. Otherwise I will go in and wipe floor with teachers, bullies and parents, grrrrrr;)

Nice size back pack received today from Amazon. I'm giving it to my friend's DD as she is obsessed with colouring in & drawing (walls, furniture..)
It's only £2.93

That is cuteI found a dora explorer present I had put away for DD when she was about 5, problem was I found it hidden away when she was almost 11:o:o

Buy in twos an A and should work out at £2.70 a pack after APG:)
Sure? They're Felix 'As Good as it Looks' and Felix 'Sensations' pouches (12x100g) £3.50 each in A and 2 for £6.00 T. But, the way things are looking at the moment, I'd be going for Felix Selection Pouches, same size and number, 12x100g, A £3.88 or 2 for £6 vs Sainsbobs 2 for £6.00. Might compare 2x3.88 vs 6.00

I was just about to cut out a pile of £1 cushelle mocs from the tesco turkey extravaganza as I seem to remember reading yesterday that you could use them against the £1.75 packs and they would match Sada price of £1.50 to give a little TPP so they would work out at 35p - I must have misread or invented this.
Just checked mys and Sada is more expensive than tosco.
Ok 75p is still good for 4 loo roll but not with free pack vouchers - 35p I would have bought them“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
