I know both parents of the girls involved so school need to sort this before I do or say something I shouldn't
One of our neighbours is the mother of the (maybe ex) local bully. I told her more than once what her daughter was like, and she got really upset once when she was playing round the back and throwing stones at cats, she ran when I got one of the blokes to go and sort it (bigger and more fearsome than me) and left the lad she was encouraging to throw stones with her to take the fall. I told his parents what had happened, they went to see her, she came to me and asked why I had been lying about her daughter  I explained that I had not lied and her daughter was a coward and a bully. The stones were in builders sand and a little while later I heard her having a real go at her daughter as builders sand had been tracked in the house when she ran home. He daughter screamed at her that she couldn't help it because it was stacked round the back of her house (where she most certainly had not been a few minutes earlier). A little while later there was a knock on the door and it was the girl's mum. I did not want to either be told I was wrong or be apologised to from that woman
We did not speak for some time, then the daughter decided she wanted to be friends with my (very popular) daughter. She expected me to be upset, but I decided to let her make her own mistake. It lasted a few weeks until she found out she was just being "friends" to try to get into the more popular group.
The woman has since tried to apologise yet again and wants to be friends. Personally I could never trust her again, and I have to be able to trust my friends. We are nodding acquaintances and that is all we will ever be.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I disagree here I still haven't got my DS his main present I have no idea what to buy and thinking Tesco gift voucher but that's not very personal
Same here, I have still no idea what to get my youngest son - aged 21. He works in the outdoor sport industry so you think it would be so easy but he already has all of the specialist equipment and clothing he needs for every known land and water sport - canoeing, kayaking, walking, mountaining etc plus his foot ware and clothes are also specialised, some provided by work so he needs nothing. His car is only a few years old so he needs nothing for it. He got a new tablet in May so all his technology is up to date.
So far we have got 2 wheel trims for his car (actually he ordered those, we just picked them up) - they were only £12 and the only thing he really needed. I've got 2 magazine subscriptions, YHA membership and I've got to order a book and then there is a Gillet he asked me to wrap for Christmas.
I am at my wits end.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
