Can anyone suggest anything to stop my letter box rattling in the wind cos its making the dog a nervous wreck !
Ive currently got it sellotaped down but for obvious reasons this isn't a long term solution.

A little bit of bluetac on the outer edges, get enough so you can top it up as it falls out. sellotape is a postmans nightmare.0

It might be worth a shot taking the dog to the door and showing him the letter box rattling from both inside and outside, depending on how bright he is.You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -
The foam draught proofing strip is ideal for things like that and fan shutters etc.You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0

get some sticky-back magnets from your local hardware store0

Hi,
you could maybe pack a thin bit of wood or some folded cardboard under the spring leg to strengthen it,
or pin a cable clip at side or bottom of flap, then postman only has to swivel it to open,0
