New T Mobile Sim - can't add credit.. please help

Have bought daughter a refurbished iphone 4 for her birthday, she wants to PAYG and will be mostly using our WIFI for internet. TRied to top up on both T mobile website and through 150, have tried to do with my CC and debit card, but its says I am already on maximum for this account, she has nothing on it.
