Newbie asking for help re Peel Centre/Excel Parking

I have joined this forum for advice on the below after recommendation from Bondy Lad on another forum and hope you willbe able to help me.
On 19th August I parked atthe infamous Peel Centre in Stockport, in the KFC area and I went over theallowed parking. ANPR cameras caught me going in and out and I subsequentlyreceived a PCN dated 28th August. I mistakenly thought theadvice was to ignore the PCN but I have since learnt this advice changed at theend of 2012. I have now received a 2nd PCN dated 6th November with the amountpayable having been increased to £100.00.
What should I do now? I have no intention of paying the £100 finebut need to know if I can still appeal and if so what route I need to go down. Or what will happen if I ignore.
I have looked through some of the threads but am quite confused asin my case so much time has passed.
Also I am not sure if this will make a difference but they (ExcelParking) have written to me at my old address (I moved in mid-September) and mymail re-direct will stop shortly so I will not receive anyfurther letters assuming the person living at my previous address will return tosender.
I am grateful for any advice.

you should not have ignored this as it was easily won at no cost had you dealt with it at the time, you only have to look at the sticky thread on successful appeals to POPLA at the top of the forum to see this
due to the time lapse and other issues I would not like to advise you which I would have done had you been able to appeal in the usual timeframes
check the NEWBIES sticky thread for advice on this now, possibly some of the other sticky threads too
its listed in my signature, but is one of 8 at the top of this forum
ps:- it is not a fine , only a court can "fine" you
its a parking charge invoice0 -
if you've missed the chance of a POPLA code which it seems you have you might have to ignore, read the stickys and come back for advice if you get a letter before claim.
you should complain to KFC and have them get it cancelled.0 -
also complain to the peel centre manager
again , details in that NEWBIES thread0 -
Read the 'NEWBIES READ THIS FIRST!' thread. In it I do talk about your options if too late to appeal (and I am constantly fed up that no-one bothers to read it)!
And read the COMPLAINTS thread - although the Peel Centre rarely help but the thread does give you the email address to contact there. You could also complain to KFC Head Office which might be better.
Don't imply who was driving at all in any comms, including your first post above which you should edit right now.
Not sure why no-one reads the stickies, makes me want to delete them one day...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
