hi, can some clever person/s help with this puzzle please

I've narrowed part one down to 2 clues left ? but there should only be one

I've

'Not dessert from Harrogate' & 'Insignificant thing'

left over & a pic of the mince pies & chocolate left over,


eta.. trifle pic left over

on part two I've unscrambled the anagrams but not sure how the answer relates to part 1

can anyone help please..

FF asked for someone clever to help. Thankfully, that lets me off the hook My brain scrambled reading the instructions - sorry. What I will say though is if someone does want to try and help, don't forget that little trick of holding the control key while scrolling the mouse wheel, to zoom in and out. I think that might be seriously useful with this one.

Well I'd be tempted to say the answer is Chocolate Log - The Log is the only thing in part 2 I wouldn't put in the fridge, and if one of your potential left over answers from part 1 is chocolate, then they would fit together?

The advents have given me too fuzzy a head to work out the answer to part 1 properly so that's just a guess though.

the trifle thing is not crossed off does that matter?

for the record I have no idea what I'm looking at other then trifle hmmmm

An Insignificant thing is a trifle so that cancels those two out. I'm from Harrogate but I don't get what that clue is, haha. Unless it just means up north we have savoury mince pies too (but doesn't everywhere?)

I'd agree with Starry Bee that Chocolate Log makes sense as an answer because none of the other leftover clues goes with log and that's the only thing you wouldn't have in your fridge

hi, i'd not got the trifle crossed off as well sorry forgot to add
all the clues should relate to a picture prize & I couldn't find a clue for the mince pies, trifle & chocolate x

I think I would have to agree with chocolate log as Starrybee suggests, cant see any other logical conclusion.

Quickly reading through what you are required to do for this quiz, I'm gathering you need to match a word clue with a picture?

Then 'Not Dessert from Harrogate' should be the pic of the Yorkshire Pudding...

What word clue did you use to match with that?
