How to get rid of the smell of wee from an airing cupboard?

We bought our first house 10 months ago. A 90 year old couple lived there. The place needed a bit of TLC as the woman, we believed sadly had Altzimers and so the back bedroom and lounge smelt of wee. We both stayed at our parents while we gutted the place and did it up. The smell of wee has disappeared in the lounge and back bedroom thanks to bleach on the floor but the airing cupboard has started to smell again.
It was only smelling a little bit compared to what it used to but I was wondering if there was any way to get rid of it? When the heating was on during the winter the smell didn't exist but as soon a we switched the heating off the smell started to come back. I have tried bleach and white vinegar on the floor and on the wooden shelves when I first got the house and that seemed to help until now.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you

A strong solution of warm water and bicarbonate of soda slooshed on the area from a v damp cloth, then left to soak into the wood/cracks might help. Then go over it with the same solution 24 hrs later but dry the area with cloths afterwards. If the surface will stand it, a final wipe with surgical spirit will help. I used this to get rid of tom cat wee smells and it was the best method of any I tried.Good luck0

Do a number 2 in the cupboard, the smell of wee will soon be far from your mind...0

I'm sure my missus used a very strong dilution of 'Jeyes fluid' on the floorboards, when we lifted the carpets at my dad's old house, where the cats had been doing a wee (Sadly my dad had dementia & would forget to let the cats out at night time
).
It took a couple of treatments, but did the trick. The downside was a very strong disinfectant smell (reminded me of the smell of Primary school after the cleaners had been in!) for a good few days.

Hi
Have a look around the cupboard and see if you have any leaks .I have found that water on old floorboards in a bathroom brings up the smell every time.
It might only be a small drip from a stop !!!! or pump valve packing gland .
