Hi MSErs,
Just a tiny bit of advice needed please!
Had a PCN, got it cancelled last week by manager as a goodwill gesture -thanks for your wonderful advice! (3rd week after issue) and meanwhile had appeal ready to send off.
Is it a good idea to still send off appeal? I was wondering what would happen if Manager hadn't managed to cancel it properly (for some reason) and I missed appeal date for POPLA code.
Many thanks!

Have you received confirmation from the PPC it has been cancelled?
Until you receive that confirmation you cannot assume that it has been cancelled. What stage are you at? Appealing to the PPC or are you at the POPLA stage?0 -
No just a verbal agreement from the site manager. At stage of appealing and waiting for them to send a POPLA code

Ask manager to confirm to you in writing - maybe email him/her with your request so that all is then needed is a quick 'reply' from them.
Have you sent off your appeal to the PPC?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yep, just a nice gentle email, reminding him of your conversation in which he agreed to cancel your parking charge and could he just confirm your understanding of that conversation that the parking charge is to be cancelledPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
